Our log on that we used for the project was "mediae" this relates to both our subject and also the block in the colleges timetable.
- SD Card
The SD Card is put into the Mac and it will appear on the screen ready for us to use. From here you can import the footage into the videos folder. Above is an example of how to not import the video from the SD card and that is to import it from the card and straight into the folder, and right under the first screen is an example of how it should look. How you do it is you copy from the card and into the movies folder and make a separate folder to copy the files into as seen below.
- Where Projects are Stored and Paths
This screen above shows the path and where the files are stored, it shows the names and locations of the files that are needed for adobe premiere to load the project.
- Bins
This screen above shows the projects bin that displays the folders that can be accessed during the project to add more footage or screens for example. These are taken from the folders that are stored on the Mac and then imported into Premier Pro for usage. In the projects bin folder there is an after effects screen shot that has not been filed in a folder. This could be used as an example of poor organisation.
- Setting Up Projects
This menu appears when you first set up a project, in addition this screen shows what settings where needed for our project. Also the "location" section shows where the project will load the main files from so it is important to import all work needed into this folder. Our resolution for the project was 25fps and 1080p for the project.
