DepicT ! Film planning (For Group)

Group: Guy, Louie, Alycia                                                        Title: Internet Blues 

Beginning -  Someone comes in and turns off monitors of PCs. Says the internet is over and a thing of the past. Other characters say what they were going to do, while on the internet. One of them for example normally uploads a picture of their food to Instagram, although cant upload due to no internet so they run up to people and show it off in the hope for "Likes". Another one could also be that someone wanted to ask their friend if they were free for lunch to go to subway. However since there's no internet the person simply writes the Facebook note on some paper or card  and tried to mail it via post box.

Middle - This is were the characters try to live without the internet, e.g posting the note in the mail box and waiting. During this actions characters might become confused or frustrated at the fact they can not do their day to day stuff.

End - After these events, the characters come back to where they were in the beginning, sat at the computer. The character who said the internet was down, then says that its not, and that its simply out of style much like MTV. Other characters switch monitors back on to discover that its still working. Although the internet is bad for you and "Fills your head with numbers" Then at the end it literally does.

1. Over the shoulder shot of people at the computers.

2. Close up of characters face as they turn of monitors.

3. Mid shot of computers being switched off

4. Cuts to each screen being switched off

5. Reaction shot of characters at PC after they are switched off.

6.  Over the shoulder shot from PC people looking at person who turned off monitors

7. Flashback to that person reading the story, turning off screen in the process. Then walks towards where the present scene is happening.

8. Mid Shot of people at PC screen, explaining what they were going to do while on the internet.

9. Close up of note being written, asking to go to lunch with someone.

10. Shot of person walking to mail box, putting in the card and waiting, looking at watch

11. Extreme close up of watch, shows how slow time is going.

12. Mid shot of person looking at there lunch, taking picture. Then pauses wondering what to do next, looking around to see if anyone is there to show picture.

13. Tracking shot of character walking down corridor, looking at phone. Asks people to "Like" it, gets in there personal space with the picture. (Close up of picture to their face).

14. Reaction shot (close up) of person being targeted by Instagram nut

15. Long shot of room where they started. Other character is on the pc using the internet, others mention that they thought the internet was down. Other character explains that it was just a "fad" and that it fills your head with numbers.

16. Close up of characters turning monitors back on, being happy at the fact that it still works.

17. Close up of one of the characters, shows them being ill and possibly throwing up actual numbers. Or shot of desk, with numbers being thrown down on them *Possible coughing sound effect*  

18. Close up of others screen being turned off with their reaction being seen.
